These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between UNI FURNISH LTD (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and any individual renting furniture from us (“the Customer”, “you” or “your”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to UNI FURNISH LTD.

  • “Customer” refers to any individual (including students) who enters into a rental agreement with the Company.

  • “Goods” means all rental furniture and related items supplied by the Company.

  • “Contract” means the legally binding rental agreement between the Company and the Customer.

2. Rental Period

  • All rentals are for a fixed 12-month contract beginning on the delivery date.

  • At the end of the 12-month period, Goods must be returned unless the Contract is renewed.

  • Early termination is subject to fees as described in Section 9.

3. Ownership

  • All rented Goods remain the property of the Company at all times.

  • You are granted the right to use the Goods during the rental period only.

​

4. Payments

  • Rent is payable monthly in advance, by card or direct debit.

  • A security deposit (specified at order) may be required and refundable subject to inspection of Goods at collection.

  • If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to collect the Goods and terminate the Contract.

  • Overdue payments may accrue interest at 3% above the Bank of England base rate per month.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the safekeeping, proper use, and reasonable care of the Goods.

  • Reasonable wear and tear is expected. Any damage beyond fair wear and tear will be charged to you.

  • In the event of loss, theft, or irreparable damage, you will be charged the full replacement value of the Goods.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure adequate access for delivery and collection.

6. Delivery & Collection

  • We aim to deliver and collect on the agreed dates, but we are not liable for delays outside our control.

  • If we are unable to collect due to lack of access or availability of Goods, additional charges may apply.

  • You must notify us in writing when Goods are ready for collection. The rental period continues until collection is made.

7. Condition of Goods

  • Goods may be supplied new or pre-used and may show signs of wear.

  • Our branding labels must not be removed. Tampering with branding will be treated as damage.

  • Goods must be returned in a clean, dry, and usable condition.

8. Cancellation Before Delivery

  • Orders cancelled prior to delivery will incur the following charges:

    • More than 14 days before delivery: 25% of the first months rental value.

    • 7–14 days before delivery: 50% of the first months rental value.

    • Less than 7 days before delivery: 100% of the first months rental value.

9. Early Termination (After Delivery)

  • This is a fixed 12-month rental agreement.

  • If you terminate the Contract early (after delivery but before the end of 12 months):

    • You must provide at least 30 days’ written notice.

    • You will be charged an early termination fee equal to two (2) months’ rent, or the balance of the remaining term (whichever is lower).

    • Your deposit may be applied against unpaid rent, damage charges, or early termination fees.

10. Termination by the Company

We may terminate the Contract immediately and collect Goods if:

  • You fail to pay rental charges on time.

  • You misuse, neglect, or damage the Goods.

  • You breach these Terms.

11. Liability

  • We are not liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by misuse of the Goods.

  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, supply issues).

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. General

  • These Terms form the entire agreement between you and UNI FURNISH LTD.

  • Any variation must be agreed in writing by a Company director.

  • If any clause is found unenforceable, the remaining Terms still apply.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Important: By confirming your order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
